place for you to find the education you always dreamed of.

At the moment, 15% of the inhabitants in Odense are students and international students play a crucial role in enriching the university experience to every student, by bringing different views, cultures, and perspectives.
With a great education system, free tuitions and scholarships, free healthcare and the chance to work part-time and get SU, Odense is definitely the right place to start your new adventure.
But moving to a different country and culture can be tough, and although Denmark is a well-organized country with people that are willing to make you feel comfortable, it is crucial for you to remember that you are going through a learning process. So, keep active, engage in social opportunities and talk to people.
Odense has plenty of options for you to build a network, have fun and learn at the same time. Here are some of the events taking place in March:

International Community Odense
• March Book Club Meet Up – March 6th Borgernes Hus 18.30 – 19-30
• Smooth Landing in Denmark – March 12th Borgernes Hus 17.00 – 19.30 - Expat in Denmark and far from home? Adapting to the new culture and habits might be difficult. Join an interactive workshop with Piero Gentilini and Carlos Guillemot and learn how to deal with the culture shock and get ready for your smooth landing in Denmark.
Startup Odense
• Startup Odense Internship Corner – March 21st Campusvej 55 Odense M 9.30 – 12.00 - This year, as part of the SDU Business Lunch, Startup Odense is organizing the Startup Odense Internship Corner. Here, startups from all over Odense will be presenting their companies and their open positions for internships, student jobs, or thesis projects. You will have the chance to meet a variety of different startup companies operating in different business areas and hear more about the opportunities they provide. As a part of the program, the startups will do a pitch on stage to present themselves and why they should be your next career move. In the Startup Odense corner, you will be provided with the perfect career opportunities aiming at fulfilling your professional goals in the entrepreneurial environment.
• SUNDVALG – April 15th DOK 5000 Odense 10.00 – 16.00 - SUNDVALG is a fair that differs from other similar concepts by gathering all healthy choices that we encounter in our everyday life.
Studenterhus Odense
• International Gathering - March 2nd 19.30 – 22.30 - New in Denmark? Haven’t made enough friends yet? Or just a local who wants to make international buddies? Then this is the right event for you!
