One afternoon interview and Happiness in a nutshell.

Since my dear trainee Kate had a chance to experience working environment of newsroom in Helsinki, she was happy to become a journalist for one more afternoon. Kate simply decided that she needs some extra materials for her internship assignment and therefore she came to my "homeoffice kingdom" in order to hear more detail about project Let Me Inspire You- Share The Happiness. So we took a cup of coffee and dropped into a friendly conversation.

Tell me something about project Let me Inspire You – Share The Happiness.What is it about?

,,Well, as it´s obvious from its name, the main idea is about inspiration. This project is based on sharing experiences, opinions lifestyle tips etc. Within people from different European countries. The idea with „Share The Happiness“ arises from different statistics, analysis and articles about Denmark and other Scandinavian countries which regularly used to fill TOP positions in researches about life standard, people´s satisfaction and happiness. And since we also experienced it and we know how deeply it affected us, we decided to come with a new face of networking for those, who desire to experience the same."

Who can participate there ?

,,Our target group in Czechia are high school students. We state this program as very beneficial for them, because it could be their first step to study or work abroad. However, from our personal experience we know, that also other people like university students or already non-students after graduation desire to see the world, and therefore we are her effort them too. In Denmark, we are looking for young volunteers, experienced and enthusiastic people, who want to be guides for new potential international students. At the same time, they of course also have a chance to gain many new experiences, meet new people from different countries and win the final REWARD."

Why should young people be interested in this project ? What is the real value ?

,,First of all, many new contacts and friends from both countries, Czechia and Denmark. Czech students will acknowledge interesting details about Denmark, study and jobs opportunities there, and also about local people, their culture and lifestyle. They will spend two month in regular contact, they will build their own project and the best one will win a special reward in the end. Except of Danish colleagues, they will meet any young successful people like entrepreneurs, travelers, bloggers etc., who already passed a long way to reach their goals and find their dreams and at the same time all these people have experiences with job, internships or study programmes from abroad. Very similar program is waiting also for our Danish volunteers. At last but not at least, they all will practise their English and so those ones who don´t feel very self-confident to speak English will realize, that when they have to speak it comes naturally within rich vocabulary or without ;). All of them will have a chance to improve their skills, when it comes to presentation, team-work and project planning and management."

Explain me what is different in this project from other courses on the market ?

,,In my opinion, absolutely everything is different. We´ve never met with this kind of project until now. It´s not a language curse, it´s not directly educational course, and we are not an agency who will help you to processed administration. We just found our own way, how to provide complete information, that will prepare people in advance for their journey to abroad. It makes their new start easier and increase their chance to succeed. Moreover, now when situation in Denmark has changed and capacity for international students decreased compared to previous years."

When will you launch the first round of this programme ?

,,Everything will oficially start in October 2017. And we really can´t wait fo it ! ;) "

How long will it last ?

,,Whole programme is about two months. Since it is meant as leisure time activity we take in consideration, that our students need a time for their school, home preparation and also for them self to have some fun, so it´s really not a full time. :-) Moreover, all activities are voluntary. We don´t force anybody to be active in all workshops, lectures or tasks, if they will for example find some topic which they are really not interested in. We consider them as young responsible adults, so it is up to them. However, I think that our final reward is a good motivation to be active and present as much as possible."

When you would describe this project by few words, it would be :

,,Fun, experiences and new friends and useful contacts"

Our time ran so fast and we so a coupe of gentle storms, sunny and rainy moments, as we are in Denmark ;). In the end we finally quit the job, at least for the day and went to catch up some sunlight, until it was sunny.
